"Deep Street Soul hit the groove hard and don't slow down for no one."

Come Alive! is wall-to-wall, in-your-face heavy funk with a dusting of soul vocals and gospel organ.

This is the band's second album with vocalist Mighty May Johnston and she channels Etta James' attitude, roaring up octaves and along vocal runs. There are two guest vocalists: Love On Tap features neo-soul singer Kylie Auldist and Joshua Tavares sings on The Hardest Part Is Knowing, the album's moody ballad. Deep Street Soul hit the groove hard and don't slow down for no one. If you love raw funk, the type that keeps you dancing 'til the wee hours, then this one's for you.
