"Campbell exhibits the hallmarks of an apt sardonic wit."
Reviewing a show like this is, frankly, quite difficult. Campbell is a sympathetic figure and his pathos is not to be underestimated. Unfortunately, his comedy is underwhelming. Campbell exhibits the hallmarks of an apt sardonic wit and he's very aware of his performance, but this show is the comic equivalent of a bad cup of Lipton tea I once made for my aunt: weak, uncomfortable to behold and may have begun with a bad premise. Campbell is pretty good at interacting with his audience though.
