Darkness & Light

If you've ever had a really bad day or worse, Darkness and Light is the comedy variety night for you. With the catch cry “When life hands you lemons… become a comedian!” special guests are invited to perform sets of up to 10 minutes where they share a variety of personal stories, from mental illness, coming out and break ups to name a few.

On the night of the review MC Cath Styles introduced a line up consisting of Abiogoliah Shamaun, Bev Killick and Ronny Chieng.

Styles, who sadly lacks the nous for her role as MC, has put together a great comedy variety night that allows you to hear poignant stories that make you giggle. Shamaun and Killick were particular stand-outs with their sets about funerals and schizophrenia respectively. And Chieng kills it, cause that what he does. Darkness and Light is definitely worth a visit.
