Daniel Sloss: Stand Up

"He’s 23. When he’s 33 he’ll be like an award-winning Penfolds Shiraz, with a bit more body to his comedy."

More Daniel Sloss Daniel Sloss Profile

Sloss opens by having a go at reviewers. Nervously I put my pen and pad down – immediately. Apparently, reviewers complain about his shows having no theme. This one was called Stand Up – “because I'm fucking lazy. It has nothing to do with stand-up, rather what an arsehole I am.” The show was a series of sharp observations on gays making better parents, his parents, X-Box addictions and some very risqué facts about penguins. He's 23. When he's 33 he'll be like an award-winning Penfolds Shiraz, with a bit more body to his comedy.
