With her confessional style and commitment to audience interaction, Ciel's #hangover is very engaging.
Heckling is handled well despite an obsession with the description of her lady bits as like "rooster flaps." Her set is a cocktail of anecdotes about her relationship with alcohol, Australia's drinking culture and the perks and perils of being a woman of a "certain age". Her first musical number is a little awkward, but we're warmed up for the second, while a highlight is her ten stages of drunk in two minutes. It's a polished set and Ciel works it like an Instagram hangover — fabulous.
