BROADWAY SOUNDS may only have three members, but their latest track ‘Ah Ring Ah Ting Ting’ sounds more like music created by a 40 strong Afro Beat band complete with choir of vocalists and rhythmic dancing.
There is a lot going on in this track. You will need to be moving fast to keep up with it, so put your dancing shoes on. These guys are known for their psych-pop creations, but this particular track has strayed a little down another, slightly different but rather fantastic path.
There is nothing simplistic about ‘Ah Ring Ah Ting Ting’. There is constant percussion, keyboard, and manipulated vocals. Suddenly other sounds will jump in and out, everything from a siren, to a horn, and finally that doorbell ah ring ting tinging. You will get caught up in the moment this track creates, picturing yourself at a full on street party, with everyone going nuts dancing away.
Broadway Sounds have forged a reputation for fast paced, complicated sounds. Complicated in a good way, one that allows you to put yourself 100% in the moment of the track. In the case of ‘Ah Ring Ah Ting Ting' that moment is a full street party, with crazy amounts of colours and dancing going on all around you.
