Decked out in a golden safari suit, Barry Morgan captivated his audience with his beloved Hammond in a new out-of-this-world organ party. "You know the drill, Morgan," Barry Morgan screamed to a crowd that chanted his name in response.
The best parts of the show were unscripted audience interactions, from handing out witty (and kind of sexual) compliments to crowd members and interviewing a pair of bashful kids, to having one lucky lady peel off his golden safari pants. He didn't leave a dry eye in the hall, fits of laughter breaking out all around while he chose audience members to join him on stage for the 'one finger method'. His cosmic organ hits, borrowed Star Wars and Space Invaders, and a karaoke session of Australian classics including Happy Little Vegemites, got the crowd singing and laughing.
Even with a few technical difficulties, Barry Morgan pulled off an amazingly entertaining show that felt like it was over in a blink of an eye, leaving the audience wanting more. Out Of This World is a must-see comedy show, never disappointing, just a pure ball of laughs.
