Live Review: BIGSOUND LIve: Banoffee

Combining pre-recorded R’n’B beats with smooth vocals and textured synths

More Banoffee Banoffee

By combining pre-recorded R’n’B beats with smooth vocals and textured synths, Banoffee is able to blur the lines between genres, creating a lot of sound in the process.

The Melbourne based songstress’ performance however comes off a little disjointed and the tempo-perfect samples ultimately contribute to an otherwise unengaging performance. The semi-enthusiastic crowd at The Rev don’t seem to mind too much though, listening on with mild enjoyment.
