Album Review: Bandito Folk - The Embankment

The less is more thing follows into the groovy Hacky Sack and Into The Fire. Riveting stuff.

Further adding to the healthy crop of Brisbane bands playing top local shows and making their way further afield, five-piece Bandito Folk play that ever-pleasant, moreish, ballady folk rock that seems to rise up out of the earth and seep into one's skin. The Embankment is a very teasing taste of what's to come. Straight up, Don't Wanna Be Like You's meandering aligns with Josh Tuck's fragile vocals and is unadorned with garish outbursts but is rich in nostalgic sentiment. The less is more thing follows into the groovy Hacky Sack and Into The Fire. Riveting stuff.
