Ash Williams has some amazing stories to tell — if only he had someone to tell them for him.
What would make a potentially phenomenal collection of short stories instead is haphazardly conveyed in his new show, I've Done Some Bad Things. Williams delivers his musings with a lacklustre energy, and it is unclear as to whether or not he is the hero of his own life. The show has a clear highlight in Williams' tale of starring in a voyeuristic "tickle video", but what follows is awkwardly laden with unnecessary media components. Williams has something here, but it clearly needs work.
