Whether you're new to the genre-bending, time-transfiguring three-piece or not, those hooky motifs sans lyrics cast some magical spell in The Joy Of Motion's opener, only to deepen in Lippincott, when those dizzying guitars go bouncing into the air. It's almost frustrating in a way, that desire to be transported but being transfixed by every pattern, new sound or wayward chug. It's just unavoidable.
