Expectations that will none the less be likely met with American Football. It's all about intricate time signatures, delicate melodies and emotions that are unashamedly on their sleeves. All with a sensitive emo rock edge from a time before emo became a dirty, marketing buzz word, American Football sounds exactly like a follow-up to its pre-millennium predecessor, without sounding like a dated rehash.
