Album Review: Alt-J - Live At Red Rocks

This is a splendid and well representative live recorded performance for the wave-making Alt-J.

The near flawless set means nothing is hidden away in the mix and everything is pushed to the front. Crystal clear sounds are interspersed with organic crowd reactions and the undeniable sense of oneness bleeds into the output, placing the listener into the action. Audience chanting leads into a beautiful rendition of Matilda, and Joe Newman states that "We've been looking forward to this, pretty much forever" before righteously breaking into Left Hand Free. It's a must have for dedicated fans of Alt-J's work.
