Dark metal from an anonymous clan.

The latest release caters for a wider listenership, which is great value for money and even better value to the Australian metal scene.

The final poem’s a bit scary though, so be prepared to mind-screen Alien!

This is one of those albums that requires time and patience and from that its warmth and grace is revealed.

The record is not the revelation Wolfgang… was, but it’s perhaps equally as brilliant, certainly as fun and totally relevant to 2013.

Painful as it is, the group are better left as a live nostalgia act.

It’s not an age thing – look at Buddy Guy. It’s just that the result is a nice rather than an essential album.

Catchy and palatable enough, there’s nothing new brought to the plate and there’s certainly nothing particularly gripping about the album.

There’s very little wrong here, it’s just not going to leave a lasting impression on any but the most devote fans.

Everything is more optimistic, but without the counterbalance for the pop, the band seem in danger of sounding a little too cheesy or naff – an art school tribute to Architecture In Helsinki or the like.
