Live Review: Airwolf & Jasper 'Girls To Jump'

Airwolf & Jasper team up once again to give us this vibrant new tune, 'Girls To Jum'.

Though it's hard to accept the ever looming colder weather and easier to blissfully fantasise of warmer days, there's no denying the harsh truth that, winter is coming.

Luckily, AIRWOLF and JASPER have paired up once more and allowed us just a little bit more of winter-ignorance, with this absolute fun and summer-rays drenched tune, 'Girls To Jump'. The lads' first musical collaboration was on the house/funk tones of 'Imitation', but since then have focused on their solo works.

Amongst numerous remixes for Modular and Sweat It Out, AIRWOLF's most recent original 'Hanging On' wasn't short on the summery vibes either, so it's only sticking true to form that his latest tune and reunion with JASPER - who has been honing in on the live scene as the keys/bass guy for JAKUBI - 'Girls To Jump' carries on the vibrant season torch.

Like swimming up and breaking through the water's surface, 'Girls To Jump' swells from its muted start to full sonic explosion; horn sections and an underlying, '70s vibe-ing synths that all swirl up into the one glorious nu-disco mix. It's a continuous, upbeat groove that makes the next summer's far reach that much more bearable.
