"Extremely well-polished collection that sweats of gasoline and jukebox jumpin’, managing to squeeze in a song for almost everyone."

Brisbane’s 52 Pickups have stepped out of the studio with the extremely well-polished collection that sweats of gasoline and jukebox jumpin’.

Rockabilly records can sometimes polarise quickly, but 52 Pickups have kept their true sound throughout while letting each track take on its own, such as pop riffs in Angel, the stomping rock line of This City Tonight or the ska backing to That’s Got To Leave A Mark. While not breaking any musical boundaries, the band has managed to squeeze in a song for almost everyone.
