"... Lindow and the band have seriously hit the mark on 'Lanterns'."

More 36 Crazyfists More 36 Crazyfists

This Alaskan institution has been through the ringer across the course of their two-decade-plus career, and they have only emerged the stronger for it. In fact, with Lanterns, they are punching harder than ever.

This becomes blatantly obvious from the word go, as the opening strains of the thunderous opener Death Eater veritably explode from the speakers. However, this is no mere one dimensional hard and heavy album. There is much variation to sink your teeth into here, from the thrashy to the slower, grindier stuff, the moody and the soft and acoustic.

Yep, Brock Lindow and the band have seriously hit the mark on Lanterns.
