Live Review: Live in the now with 2015 & 2016; the final two chapters of Ten Years Of Taste

Purple Sneakers HQ is all over the bloody place with excitement, as it's our tenth birthday eve! We've put a lot of effort into ensuring you'll have a great time with us tomorrow night, so please do check our final update, including RSVP information and additional acts to truly fatten up the live roster!

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, get into full blown Friday mode with a DOUBLE slam of mixtape heaven, courtesy of the very talented Purple Sneakers DJs.

What began at 2007 now sees the final two spots being filled up by 2015 and 2016, to complete our Ten Years Of Taste mix series. Reviving gems of the subsequent year, there's a monster mash sonic haven readily available for you lovelies, including the instant classic that is Porsches' 'Horses', the real rise of Roland Tings with, 'Pala', George Maple's sultry, 'Talk, Talk', and mighty banger, 'House Every Weekend' by David Zowie.

Fast track to now, with what we believe to be the best of 2016 thus far; featuring the first single from Ribongia's Escapisms EP, 'Journeys', the club edit of Antony & Cleopatra's, 'Love Is A Lonely Dancer', the Disclosure remix of Flume's, 'Never Be Like You', and swallowing up with 'Tremble' by Sydney singer-songwriter, Nicole Millar.

Soundtracking an era of "hover" boards, Caitlyn Jenner, a dress unable to decipher what colour it is, Mike Baird's questionable decision making and the fall of our beloved David Bowie and Prince, we hope the finale of our Ten Years Of Taste mix series will leave you in good spirits (and ready to party at Sydney's Lord Gladstone Hotel tomorrow night)!!!
