The lo-fi indie-pop Idaho-native YOUTH LAGOON, better known to his mum as Trevor Powers is making plans to grace our shores in early 2014 with a small number of live shows across the country!
Being presented by the good guys over at Secret Sounds, YOUTH LAGOON will be bringing his staple acid-ized 'glo-fi' sounds of washed out vocals and reverb-ridden treble guitars on tour with him in early 2014 over two dates in Sydney & Melbourne - sorry to all you 'Goon fans living elsewhere in the country! (Don't hate the player, hate the game).
In April of this year, YOUTH LAGOON appeared on stage at Coachella, winning over audiences with his tripped out low fidelity sounds. Since then, he has been spotted around the USA playing countless shows, including gigs with Prince Rama, CocoRosie and The National. And before venturing down under, YOUTH LAGOON will be rounding out the rest of the year with a slew of tour dates set in UK and Europe.
Fans can be sure to hear a myriad of new material including 'Mute' from his 2013 album 'Wondrous Bughouse' as well as a bunch of the YL classics at these short string of tour dates.
