The official dates for Wollongong’s cherished Yours & Owls Festival are here, and are closer than you think.

Earlier this year, festival organisers cited on social media that logistical issues like headliner availability meant that they wouldn’t be able to host or uphold the standard they usually would for the festival.

Instead, they still vowed to make “‘Gong Christmas” happen by throwing a Pre-Party Birthday Bash in celebration of 10 years of Yours & Owls on October 12th. Stacked with a lineup of powerhouse acts including Peking Duk, Cat & Calmell, Golden Features, and dameeeela, the pre-party undoubtedly filled the cup and eased the wait for punters who were otherwise anticipating Yours & Owls 2025.

Two days ago, the festival took to social media to begin teasing the impending announcement for the 2025 edition of Yours & Owls, leaving many fans on the edge of their seats in comment sections. Finally, the wait is over. Yours & Owls Festival will officially return on March 1st and 2nd, 2025, swapping out its usual Spring dates for a cool, chilly weekend in Autumn.

In a video taken at the Pre-Party Birthday Bash, headliners Peking Duk are heard announcing the new dates to an enthusiastic crowd of attendees before bringing a cake with sparklers onstage to celebrate the moment. In previous years, Yours & Owls have hosted Hell & Back UK muso Bakar, US rapper Earl Sweatshirt, Aotearoa’s Broods and Benee, plus so much more.

While there are no exact hints yet at who will be taking to the stages next year, an official press release does cite that the festival will be held on the first official weekend of Autumn, “Taylor Swift’s favourite season for a reason”. Could that mean something more or are we wishfully thinking?

Regardless, keep your eyes and ears peeled for any new updates regarding the official lineup, tickets and more via the mailing list here.
