Your Gumtree Membership Could Buy You A Music Venue

Adelaide venue Sugar Nightclub is up for sale on popular classified ads site Gumtree.

Last week the venue’s owner and operator, Driller Jet Armstrong, confirmed they would be selling, and they are now taking offers through a Gumtree listing.

“Don’t be surprised to see the venue listed in the usual places visited by people looking to buy a business,” Armstrong said last week via Facebook.

You don’t usually find Australian music venues listed on the site, but the Adelaide club is now taking offers.

“Devoted youth following included for the right buyer. Some of the most confident security in Australia. Celebrity hangout. Trophy property. Make me an offer,” the ad reads.

The Rundle Street hotspot has been operational for 13 years, hosting primarily dance music.
