You Can't Put A 'Price Tag' On This: Jessie J Welcomes Baby Boy

You can’t put a Price Tag on motherhood. English singer Jessie J gave birth to a baby boy earlier this week, revealing that he’s “all [of her] dreams come true” via her Instagram Stories.

In January, the Domino singer shared that she was pregnant with her first child. The wonderful news came after she experienced a miscarriage in November 2021. Upon announcing her pregnancy this year, Jessie J told fans she was “happy and terrified” to share the news.

“Please be gentle with me,” she captioned a video on social media. “Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked.”

After sharing her pregnancy news in January, Jessie J took to her Instagram Stories as she couldn’t help thinking about all the people struggling with pregnancy loss and infertility. She walked through her journey – not being able to get pregnant, losing a baby, and then falling pregnant again – and discussed the anxiety around the early stages of her pregnancy.

"I don't take a second of this for granted and continue to pray for a safe landing of this magical baby every day,” she said.

"I know I have been blessed with the biggest gift I will ever receive and I pray more than anything you get yours. However that looks."

This week, Jessie J safely welcomed her baby boy. She didn’t offer his name or date of birth, but upon announcing his arrival to the world, she mentioned that she’s taking a break from social media.

"A week ago, my whole life changed," Jessie J said on her Instagram Stories yesterday. "My son entered this world, and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love. He is magic. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole (world). He and I are both doing great.

“I am soaking up every second and still can't believe he is real, mine and here. For all of you that have followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all your continued love and support. I will be back on Instagram when I’m ready.”

In May last year, Jessie J told Steven Bartlett that her sixth album had been recorded but it “did not feel right” and was subsequently scrapped on the Diary Of A CEO podcast. She began re-recording the album in April 2022.
