Xavier Rudd Is Going To Jail, And You Can Join Him

The venerated troubadour will perform a special show at the historic Fremantle Prison this November

More Xavier Rudd Xavier Rudd

Celebrated roots singer-songwriter Xavier Rudd has announced a very cool-sounding show set to take place at Western Australia's iconic, historic Fremantle Prison this November for an intimate catalogue retrospective under the stars.

You'd be hard-pressed to find an occasion that will make going to prison sound as alluring as this does, with Rudd promising to return to his humble beginnings to curate a career-spanning set with a three-piece band.

With more than a decade of performance experience and a solid nine albums under his belt (eight solo, one with The United Nations), not to mention a swathe of ARIA nominations and other accolades garnered over the years, there's an abundance of goodness both new and old from which to choose, but either way you can expect a solid serve of broad favourites and cult gems peppered into the mix.

Thankfully, fans really only have to make one decision about the night, and it's an incredibly easy one to make; to that end, tickets to see Xavier Rudd live at Fremantle Prison go on sale from this Friday, 8 July, via Ticketmaster.
