Xavier Rudd Claims Top Local Debut On ARIA Albums Chart

While 5 Seconds Of Summer hold onto #1 on the Singles Chart.

Victorian-born songwriter Xavier Rudd has stormed the ARIA Albums Chart top 10 and scored the highest local debut this week with his new album, Storm Boy.

His ninth studio LP, Storm Boy, claimed a #6 debut, marking his sixth consecutive album to crack the top 10 upon release, with 2015’s Nanna placing #8 and 2012’s Spirit Bird reaching #2.

Meanwhile, Shawn Mendes claims #1 with his self-titled new release, knocking Post Malone’s Eerbongs & Bentleys down, while A$AP Rocky’s Testing (#5) and ChvrchesLove Is Dead (#7) also make the top 10.
