More 5 Seconds Of Summer More 5 Seconds Of Summer

5 Seconds Of Summer broke an almost-two year drought for an Australian song to reach #1 on the ARIA Singles chart last week and the question now is how long will the reign last?

The Sydney outfit, who just wrapped up some intimate shows in the country, climbed to top spot with Youngblood and are the first local act to do so since The Veronicas in July 2016 with In My Blood.

Midweek figures suggest that Youngblood can hold #1 for a second week, but it will be up against Post Malone's Better Now and Childish Gambino's This Is America, which finished in second and third spot respectively last week.

Debuting on the Singles chart this week includes RÜFÜS DU SOL's comeback trackNo Place (top 40) and Juice Wrld's Lucid Dreams.

Over on the Albums chart, Canadian artist Shawn Mendes' self-titled third album is the favourite to take out #1 and should debut in the top three.

Other new offerings this week include A$AP Rocky's Testing (top five), Xavier Rudd's Storm BoyChvrchesLove Is Dead and Snow Patrol's Wildness (all top ten), as well as Pusha T's Daytona (top 15) and the Solo: A Star Wars Story soundtrack (top 50).
