Here's just a few of the new shows coming up in September.

Aus streaming service Stan is bringing hip hop fans the goods this September, with a bunch of new programming set to premiere very soon.

The service has confirmed the premiere date for the new biopic series Wu Tang: An American Saga - which chronicles the early days and meteoric rise of east-coast rappers Wu Tang Clan. The program will kick off from 9 September, with the first three episodes landing at once for viewers to binge.

The show was co-created by original Wu Tang Clan member RZA, and features fellow rapper Joey Bada$$ and Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse star Shameik Moore in starring roles.

Meanwhile, 26 September will see the launch of the 50 Cent produced series BMF hitting screens around Australia.

Fast-tracked from the US for same-day viewing, the show tells the true story of the Flenory brothers - who built an infamous drug empire in 1980's Detroit under the banner of the 'Black Mafia Family.' Eminem and Snoop Dogg are both set to appear, with Demetrius Flenory Jr starring as his own father.

Also hitting Stan soon is the 2013 series Youngers - the UK series about three college students who form an impromptu music group. The show features a five-episode story arc with British rapper Little Simz.
