Byron Bay hardcore band Word Up! have decided to call it a day after their Cabin Fever release tour. A final show in Byron Bay is being announced soon.

"After coming to a final decision, Word Up - Cabin Fever Release Tour will be our last time on the road. Due to travelling commitments, this year we are all parting our own separate ways. In the last four years we have achieved more than we could have ever imagined, never expecting to play outside of the bedroom jam room. After 2 demo's, an E.P, a full length album, multiple national tours and playing with bands we grew up listening to, we cant be anymore greatful for the memorable times that we've had. A massive thanks goes out to everyone who helped us out along the way, and those who came to any of our shows and made us feel at home away from home. Hopefully we'll see you all on the road one last time. There will be a final show in Byron Bay announced soon."
