WOMADelaide has just officially unveiled its artist set times for the much anticipated 2025 iteration of this beloved annual festival.

Taking place at the Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla, this year the festival commences on Friday, March 7th. Tunes will be pumping all throughout the weekend. The last day of the festival will take place on Monday, March 10th. And now that set times are out, you can officially start meticulously planning your WOMAD weekend.

This year WOMAD promises to be unforgettable, boasting an absolutely stacked line-up of eclectic artists. Iconic alternative powerhouse PJ Harvey will be taking the stage on Friday. Global superstar Mariza will be electrifying Adelaide audiences on Saturday. Genre-collapsing German composer Nils Frahm will light up the park on Sunday. And these names are just a taste of what will be on offer over this March long weekend. A whole range of local South Australian artists will also be given a chance to shine.

But live music isn’t the only thing that WOMAD has to offer. Those running the festival urge you to explore the WOMarkets. This year, more than 56 food stalls, 44 retail stalls, and 6 display stalls will pepper the Botanic Park — representing flavours, artisanship and connection with community groups from around the world.

In this modern age fraught with political uncertainty and social disharmony, WOMADelaide stands out as a beacon of hope and testament to crosscultural connection. It is truly “the world’s festival” - an icon of diversity and the staying power of art more important now than ever.

The complete list of set times for this magical open air festival are available on WOMAD’s official website now.
