Thirteen dates around the country this April and May
Aussie rock vets Wolfmother are following up their stint abroad and at home as support on Guns N' Roses' recent tour with a headline run of their own in April and May.
The band announced the string of shows on their social media late last week, unveiling a 13-date sojourn that kicks off at Newcastle's Pier Bandroom, at the Cambridge Hotel, on Thursday 20 April.
From there, they'll hit venues in Wollongong, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Frankston, Melbourne, Forster, Port Macquarie, Sawtell, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, wrapping up at The Helm on Sunday 7 May.
Following the local tour, the band will strike up the jet-set lifestyle once again to head to Europe, where they've got shows scheduled in Germany, the Netherlands and Poland.

The upcoming national tour takes its name, Gypsy Caravan, from a track, co-written with Spiderbait drummer Kram, that appears on the band's most recent album, last year's Victorious. Wolfmother will be joined by as-yet unrevealed special guests for all shows on the jaunt.
