Wolf Creek's John Jarratt To Speak At Tropfest Roughcut

Interactive film event Tropfest Roughcut will return this July, with actor John Jarratt leading the first speakers announcement.

The man behind villain Mick Taylor of local horror movie franchise Wolf Creek will take part in a discussion on his television and film career, plus he'll talk about his upcoming directorial debut StalkHer.

Other speakers that will take part in the event's fourth year include comedian, presenter and filmmaker Dan Ilic, motion picture stills photographer Jasin Boland and reps from Facebook AU will take part in a session on social media marketing.

Tropfest Roughcut will be hosted by TV and radio personality Marc Fennell. Tickets are $30 and available now at the Tropfest website. The event will take place at Lend Lease Theatre, Darling Quarter on Saturday 26 July.

In other Tropfest news, filmmakers can now submit their applications for the event – and Trop Jr – with the deadline for submissions on Thursday 2 October. More info here.
