The tour takes place next month
It's not long now until post-punk icons Wire are here in Australia for their much-anticipated headline tour. Today, we can reveal who will be supporting the legends throughout the run.
Locked in for the band's Brisbane appearance are four-piece Per Purpose and synth punks Multiple Man, while at the Sydney show, local punk acts Raw Prawn and Housewives will do the opening honours.
Wire's Melbourne gig will feature performances by ravaging rockers Constant Mongrel and underground outfit The Stevens and in Adelaide, fans will be treated to sets by locals Rule Of Thirds and Bruff Superior.
The tour, which is proudly presented by The Music, will kick-off at The Zoo in Brisbane on Wednesday 19 February. You can find all the info in theGuide.
