Mark Lackey starts new agency
Booking agent Mark Lackey has left the Village Sounds team to start up his own company, The Wildfire Agency, which will now handle his roster.
Formerly of the Atlas Agency, Lackey's partnership with Village lasted 20 months before his decision to branch out.
Speaking to theMusic.com.au today Lackey said, “Had a great experience with Village Sounds. Will miss Evan, Andy, Gabby, Tory, Andrew, Jess and the broader team greatly and look forward to working with them all in the future. Stoked to be starting the new agency, Wildfire and continuing with my roster.”
He also confirmed the roster, which includes last-minute addition Geoffrey O'Connor, as featuring: Ash Grunwald, Blue King Brown, Caitlin Park, Clutch, Cosmic Psychos, Dialectrix, Gareth Liddiard, High Tension, Mat McHugh, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Mia Dyson, Money For Rope, Regular John, Salmonella Dub, Shihad, Sons Of Rico, The Beautiful Girls, The Black Seeds, The Drones and The Occupants.
