"I've never had to do this before and it is beyond saddening."
US DJ Whethan has cancelled all of his remaining Australian tour dates due to health issues.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Chicago producer announced he would not be performing at Listen Out's Perth date, as well as Sydney next weekend.
"I've never had to do this before and it is beyond saddening," the statement reads.
"Mentally I am in a place right now that is very worrisome to myself and my team. I've been advised to cancel these shows and try to get some rest back home. Right now I need to take time to focus on my mental and physical health again."

Local artist TWERL stepped in for Whethan in Perth yesterday, however a Sydney replacement is expected to be announced this week.
The news comes after Listen Out's opening show in Melbourne last Friday was dealt some heavy blows, with Denzel Curry being forced to cancel his set after losing his voice, while Australia's own Wafia had to call off her show due to bad weather.
