Sydney-bred rock heroes Sticky Fingers lead the charge of new music making its way onto the triple j airwaves next week, with their sophomore full-length Land Of Pleasure grabbing the station’s coveted Feature Album slot from Monday.
Fellow Australian artists joining them on the regular playlist include act du jour DMA’s, with Feels Like 37, stalwart indie kids Husky, for I’m Not Coming Back, Adelaide-bred scene climber Tkay Maidza and Melburnian one-man music force LUCIANBLOMKAMP, with his lauded track Help Me Out.
Meanwhile, Splendour In The Grass co-headliners Interpol make their return to the airwaves with All The Rage Back Home, joined by I Love You, by underground hip-hopper Lido, the painfully-difficult-to-Google Movie, with Ads, and unstoppable buzz band Royal Blood, who join in the fun with Figure It Out.
Spot adds for the week will go to Aussie acts Dorsal Fins and Indian Summer, who earn their places for their respective tracks Monday Tuesday and Shiner (featuring Ginger And The Ghost), while further spots are bestowed upon US trap and bass personality Baauer, with Clang, and veteran Long Beach indie rockers Cold War Kids, who re-enter the public conscious with All This Could Be Yours.
