Whammy! David Koechner Announces Aus Stand-Up Tour

One of America's most beloved (fake) news hosts Champ Kind — that is, comedian and actor David Koechner — is headed to Australia for a stand-up tour for the very first time this July.

The Anchorman sports anchor has also graced the silver screen in countless pieces of comedy gold over the years — among them Talladega Nights, The Dukes Of Hazzard, Semi-Pro, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, The Office (US) and Saturday Night Live — so the man has a lot of material to draw from when he performs five shows nationally.

Koechner has also built up a solid following on his YouTube channel, where he portrays numerous funny characters in videos like Art Of The Cold Call. 

Kicking off the stand-up tour in Melbourne on 15 July at the Comedy Theatre, Koechner will head straight for Adelaide on 17 July at the Thebarton, Perth's Regal Theatre on 19 July, Brisbane's Tivoli on 22 July and Sydney's Enmore Theatre on 23 July.
