In support of his 'Mandatory' world tour.

We knew he was already heading to town to perform at this year's Falls Music & Arts Festival, but the undisputed king of pop culture parody, Weird Al Yankovic, will back that up with some headline shows throughout Australia and New Zealand this coming January.

Having performed in over 100 cities in North America and Europe this year, the biggest-selling comedy recording artist in history brings his Mandatory World Tour to Australia where he will kick off the tour at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Saturday 2 January.

Yankovic will then hit the stage at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne the following night, before heading to New Zealand to play Auckland's Powerstation on Tuesday 5 January and the Isaac Royal Theatre in Christchurch the next night and then finally returning to Australia to wrap up the tour at Adelaide's Thebarton Theatre on Friday 8 January.

Pre-sale tickets are available now from the Weird Al website, before they go on sale to the general public this Thursday from 10am.
