Teaser trailer and song tasters dropped on YouTube
Veteran LA-based alt rock icons Weezer have announced the title, and unveiled a preview, of their forthcoming ninth studio full-length, to be called Everything Will Be Alright In The End.
The band made the announcement via a short teaser posted to YouTube, which previews a new track and highlights the return to duty of Blue- and Green-album producer Ric Ocasek, of The Cars.
Weezer have been tantalising fans with skerricks of information about the album -- their first since Hurley back in 2010 -- since March, when the first video in the teaser series hit the web.

A whole series of short clips followed, culminating late last month and early this month with the band's previewing of album tracks The Waste Land and Ain't Got Nobody.
Between the kitsch '50s science-video vibe of both, the ominous lurch of the former, and the typical Weezer jangle of the latter video, it's all shaping up to be pretty exciting stuff.
No release date has been announced for Everything Will Be Alright... as yet, but it will find a home with the band's new label, Republic. We'll keep you posted as more information comes to light regarding the release.
