Melbourne bluegrass bros Mustered Courage are one of just a handful of Australian bands who have been asked to showcase their talents at this year's Americana Music Festival in Tennessee and, as great as that is, they haven't really had a great deal of time to rustle up the cash to get there, so they're looking for a little help.

They're offering merch and CDs at pretty decent rates, but the upper end of the scale sees them offering some really great perks to pledgers. For $100 you can get an hour long lesson from whichever member of the band you choose, $600 will get you a Texas BBQ feast for 20 people (!) courtesy of the band's Nick Keeling, whose renowned for his culinary talents, and for $1,000 the lads will head to a school or community organisation and put on a workshop about bluegrass and playing music in general.

Name: Hammerforce
Project: Russian lyrics version of their album Доступ Закрыт (Access Denied)
Current Status: Seven pledges, 29.5% ($355) of $1,200 goal. 24 days remaining.

You have a new favourite band and their name is Hammerforce. This Russian power metal band have just released a new album, but they've decided they need to release a different version of it for their home fans. In the words of self-described “keyboardist, rhythm guitarist, producer, manager and now also singer” Nikita Merzlyakov:

“I also discovered that there is strong interest in power metal with Russian lyrics.”

So they've recorded a Russian version but they don't have enough cash to put it out.

Honestly, we're not even going to bother listing with they're offering those who pledge, you just need to watch the video and let Nikita sell the idea to you – he seems like such a great dude who just wants the people to hear his Russian power metal album. Dig deep!
