An attempted robber broke into We Came As Romans guitarist Josh Moore’s hotel room in Adelaide yesterday (30 August).
Upon Moore walking into the room, he saw a man outside, on the ground from the balcony – five floors above the ground. Miraculously, the man is alive and was transported to the hospital in an ambulance to treat injuries.
“We looked out the balcony and saw a guy on the ground, like, bloody and stuff, and so we ran down here,” Moore told 7 News Adelaide yesterday.
Moments before, the man had broken into Moore’s room, barricaded himself in it, locked the guitarist out, and stole a hat from his luggage.
“I just hope he’s alright,” bass player Andy Glass said to the 7 News crew. Moore added, “The judgement on that guy… I don’t know his life and what’s going on, but I hope it gets better.”
Luckily, Moore’s passport was found in the attempted robber’s pocket – he needed that to travel to Sydney for the band’s all-ages gig at Liberty Hall tonight.
