Comedian takes on Chili Pepper in a no-holds-barred competition for charity

Hey, are you sick of hearing about Will Ferrell, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and their widely touted drum showdown on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon yet?

Well, tough, because the video of the face-off has officially hit the web, and it's a little too glorious to ignore:

The doppelganger drum-off - which was extensively hyped on FunnyOrDie and in Fallon promotional material of late - was for US charity Cancer For College. Each combatant was given four solos to prove themselvs the ultimate skinsmith, and while we don't want to totally spoil the outcome for you, we will say that, at the very least, you'll probably be happy with the amount of cowbell.
