You can all go home now, this dude wins at music
Even if not by name, you know Ludwig van Beethoven's iconic composition Für Elise, its delicately meandering melody a staple of any musical education regardless of scope - and yet Canadian guitarist Steve Onotera has, in the year 2015, found a way to freshly interpret the centuries-old piece: by playing it on five guitars at once, by himself.
Granted, it's a totally pointless exercise, which Onotera - who goes by the online moniker samuraiguitarist - readily admits to himself in both his blurb about the video and his friendly "please subscribe!" coda, but then again it looks so freaking cool that it's hard to begrudge it. It is the Pharrell's Hat of guitar-playing.
When you're done with that little slice of ultra-post-modern classical music (it's pretty short), you should check out even more of Onotera's insanity below, in which he recreates Blue Oyster Cult's seminal hit Don't Fear The Reaper using only an iPad and a buttload of patience.
