JebediahShe may only have been born 17 years into Jebediah's career together, but little Layla Knott seems pretty determined to go to one of the shows on the 20th-anniversary tour for the veteran Perth act, offering up an adorable plea — via her father, Perth musician Pete Knott — to the band on social media today.
Noting her name and age (three years old), the impressively erudite Layla explains that Jebediah are her favourite band, and that she just wants "to go see them play" before launching into some super-cute karaoke alongside a couple of the Jebs' well-known hits, certified classics Leaving Home and La Di Da Da.
"My little girl Layla is the biggest Jebediah fan at only 3 years old, and really wants to go to the Jebediah 20th-anniversary tour," Knott sr wrote on Facebook alongside the video.
"We made this little video to share the love. Please pass it on, and let's hope we can get her there. Peace."
Even though the clip is pretty adorable, none of Jebediah's scheduled shows in Perth - two of which are already sold out - are all-ages affairs, so even with her best intentions we don't know that Layla will get a chance to be front-and-centre in the pit... but, hey, a signal boost never hurt anyone, right?
We reached out to the Jebediah camp to see how we could further Layla's cause, but were yet to hear back at the time of publication. We'll keep you posted if and when we receive word. Check out the knee-high rocker doing her thing below.
