In the wake of the recent wider international release of debut full-length Rookie, Brisbane-bred indie darlings The Trouble With Templeton have officially unveiled their mesmerising film clip for the sedate, sublime track Heavy Lifting.
The video's premise is simple enough, juxtaposing unmoving yet constantly changing shots of the band members wearing a rotating wardrobe of aesthetically depressing outfits and facial expressions with the sultry, silhouetted movements of a dancer who is only occasionally partially revealed to the audience in obscured glimpses of limbs and mouth and eyes.
It's a fantastic clip for a wonderfully addictive song, and an exciting indicator of the future for this quickly maturing outfit. Have a watch below:
