After the Lap of Legends, Mike Brady had the stadium echoing with the chorus of Up There Cazaly, the Aus music icon revelling in the epic singalong, despite some technical difficulties at the top of the song. The singer yelled, “I need to hear the track!” moments after signalling to have it turned up.

Bringing “top dog mentality”, Snoop Dogg kicked off the official pre-game entertainment show with The Next Episode, strutting onto the field alongside a matching band to a stage where Tash Sultana was shredding.
Nuthin' But A "G" Thang and Drop It Like It's Hot were up next, with dancers featured on the impressive stage alongside the rapper, before pyro was unleashed for Down 4 My N’s. Sultana took the spotlight again in Sweat.
The performance also saw Jessica Mauboy join the show for Beautiful and Baker Boy return to play yidaki on Still D.R.E.. Other songs on the setlist included Signs, Gin And Juice and closer Who Am I (What’s My Name)?.
Was the controversy ahead of the performance worth what Snoop delivered? You can watch some clips below.

Upon the AFL confirming his performance at this year’s Grand Final, Snoop Dogg said, “It’s an absolute honour to be hitting the stage at the AFL Grand Final — it’s one of the biggest events on the Aussie calendar. Can’t wait to bring the energy and celebrate with the fans. Let’s make it unforgettable.”
AFL CEO Andrew Dillon added, “Snoop Dogg is a pioneer, a performer, and a true entertainer. He’s played to packed stadiums around the world — but we think 100,000 fans at the MCG might just be his most iconic crowd yet.”
