The renowned songstress called on some familiar faces to bring 'Chandelier' to life once more
Grammy Award-nominated Australian-born singer-songwriter Sia was on-hand to perform a live rendition of her smash single Chandelier at today's annual ceremony, calling in the face of her 1000 Forms Of Fear publicity, child dance prodigy Maddie Ziegler, and comedian Kristen Wiig to provide the complementary spectacle to Sia's sublime vocals.
As is her wont these days, Sia spent the performance with back to the audience, allowing Ziegler and Wiig instead to engage in an amusing interpretive dance around the confines of a slap-dash apartment set, the pair stealing the show as Sia provided more-than-capable musical backing to the frantic movements in the foreground.
You can watch the performance, with preceding, impassioned poem courtesy of Elastic Heart video star Shia LaBeouf, in full below.
Sia had been nominated for four awards at this year's Grammys - Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video - but unfortunately couldn't walk away a victor in any category, losing out to Sam Smith - who took out the first two awards (as above) that Sia was up for - and Pharrell Williams, who ended up with the win for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video, both for Happy.
