"I really love making music.”

More Childish Gambino More Childish Gambino

Australian fans of Donald Glover are in for a HUGE month, with Childish Gambino heading Down Under as The Lion King premieres.

With his Splendour In The Grass appearance right around the corner and accompanying sideshows kicking off this weekend, Glover stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live, briefly touching on the injury that saw his last visit cancelled, while offering insight into the future of his music career.

“I think I’m going to still do shows, I’m not quite sure,” Glover said when asked whether or not Childish Gambino was done.

“I mean, I broke my foot, I had to make up these shows, but I love music, I really love making music.”

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely we’ll get to hear any of his Beyoncé collabs from The Lion King during his Aussie tour, as surprisingly, “Disney has a pretty tight leash on those songs.”

Glover also discusses his Elton John encounter, recording music for The Lion King, writing for 30 Rock and more.
