Washington Announces Queensland Shows In Celebration Of New Album

Washington fans in Queensland are in for a treat today with more shows announced for the state. 

In addition to her sold out shows for Brisbane Festival next month, Washington will now play an additional show at The Tivoli in Brisbane and then travel to Cairns' Munro Martin Parklands for an October performance. 

The announcement is in celebration of Washington's latest album, Batflowers, which is out today. 

“This song is about coming out of the worst place into the sunshine again," said Washington of the title track, "And a reminder especially when the current situation feels dire and impossible to come back from, that this too will pass if you just keep going which is a constant, beautiful reminder at the end the song."
