The Western Australian WAMi Festival (which runs Saturday 26 May 26 to Saturday 2 June) has announced their massive opening and closing party line-ups, plus a cracking Awards Ceremony line-up.

The WAMi Opening Party on Saturday 26 May at The Bakery features crowd pleaser Tomas Ford, a solo performance from Ben Witt (The Chemist), psychedelic newcomers MmHmMm, indie guns Cow Parade Cow, retro rockers Sugarpuss, sunny popsters Rainy Day Women, and five-time WAMi Award nominated Felicity Groom.

The Awards and Closing Ceromonies both go down on Saturday 2 June at The Bakery, with the former happening first and featuring a huge line-up of WA favourites Eskimo Joe, John Butler & Mama Kin (in a rare announced appearance together), local legends The Stems and rock champion Dom Mariani with brothers in arms Hurricane Fighter Plane.

Wrapping up the festival is the WAMi Closing Party featuring psych-rockers Sonpsilo Circus, indie-pop favourites The Chemist, indie-dance duo Voltaire Twins and Awkward world-beaters San Cisco.
