Almost 300km south of Perth, Caves House Hotel in the seaside town of Yallingup will be hosting its first-ever music festival this December.

To celebrate the beginning of summer, the Yalls Summer Fest will bring The Jungle Giants, Holy Holy and Clews to the town which has a population of just over 1,000.

Local acts The Blue Child Collective and Valentine will open the festival.

Events Coordinator Jayne Pendal said they were looking forward to bringing people to their venue saying they “chose the line-up based on the fun, summer sound we wanted for the festival, bringing both national and local artists together to kick off the first day of summer”.

Caves House Hotel co-owner Neil Jilley is aiming to attract over 2,000 patrons to the event saying they “intend to make this an annual event”.
