It’s been another massive year for WA music, and a quick glance at this year’s WAM Award nominees is proof of that.
With Tame Impala embarking on another quest to conquer the world with their new record, Currents, and local synth-pop outfit Kucka kicking goals all over the place, they’re both tied at six when it comes to the most nominations.
Indie rockers Tired Lion were thrust into the spotlight this past year, and are up for three awards, the same number Perth popsters San Cisco.
Up-and-comers Jacob Diamond, Methyl Ethel, Koi Child and wealth more also made the list.
With the nominees now announced for 36 awards to be handed out at the WA music industry’s night of nights, there are six categories where you hold the power to vote your favourite acts to the top, and we're proud to once again host those publicly voted categories.
Votes need to be in strictly by 5pm Friday 30 October, and you can have your say. Click below to vote.
